Here’s Why They’re Great
-
Make once, enjoy it many times. I love recipes that make “extra.” It means I don’t have to cook another meal, but instead, reheat and enjoy. That makes life simple and opens up more time to relax and enjoy my morning.
-
Satisfaction, guaranteed. There are a variety of nutritious ingredients packed into this recipe, like whole grain oats and milk, but the addition of nut butter means these “bites” are packed with satisfying protein. You can use our delicious creamy Almond Butter, but Peanut and Cashew Butters are also tasty options.
-
They’re customizable. The recipe below can easily be adjusted to suit your preferences. For example, any milk-alternative beverage will work in place of dairy milk. Choose something unflavored and without additional sugar to keep it a nourishing option. Other ideas include swapping brown sugar with another sweetener like ¼ cup of honey or maple syrup or try another spice or spice blend in place of cinnamon! Experiment and have fun.

Try These Tips
- A regular muffin pan sprayed generously with nonstick cooking spray works well, but a silicone pan or silicone liners work even better. The natural nonstick nature of silicone means your bites will come out cleanly and effortlessly from your pan.
- Once cooled, store bites in a sealed container in the refrigerator and enjoy within 5 days. For longer-term storage, transfer to the freezer and enjoy within 3 months.
- To reheat, place a bite on a microwave-safe plate, cover and microwave over medium heat in 30 second intervals until warm throughout.
