Triple Layered Mousse

What makes a triple layered mousse desert delectable is its ability to have each layer stand on its own and yet when combined form an exponential flavor— resulting in a luscious desert. This one is sweet, and nutty with a touch of sourness at the top. It is quite different from what we usually put together here. However, the leap has paid off. Your spoon must dig deep to the bottom to reach all three layers for the perfect bite.

First things first— let’s dissect each layer. The bottom is made with chocolate graham crackers, crushed and pressed to imitate a piecrust feel. There is no rule as to which layer goes where from here on. You can pick and choose according to your own preferences. Don’t feel like making the raspberry layer? No problem! The peanut butter and chocolate layers are phenomenal enough. You can also make the peanut butter layer with our Almond Butter instead!

Successful separation between layers when working with mousse is dependent on the consistency of each one. When preparing your mousse, save each layer in the refrigerator until you are ready to use them. This will ensure their ideal texture for layering. The finished creations should also remain refrigerated until ready to enjoy.
