Q&A with Charmaine, Quality Systems Manager
What brought you to Once Again Nut Butter, and what’s kept you here?
I came to Once Again at a point in my life when I needed a change from working in QA with large companies. It was a true blessing in my life. We work very closely with each other and wear many hats.
What’s one thing about working at an employee-owned company that surprised you?
It is so nice to see how involved everyone is in the company and how the employees on the Board of Directors have all of the employees’ best interest at heart in their decision-making. They make sound decisions that allow the company to continue to grow.
What’s your favorite nut or seed butter, and what’s the best way to eat it?
I really like the Unsweetened Natural or Organic Creamy Peanut Butter. I enjoy it for breakfast on a piece of toasted artisan cranberry-walnut bread. It’s delicious!
If you had to describe your job in a fun way, what would it be?
I need coffee!
If you could swap jobs with anyone at Once Again for a day, who would it be and why?
CEO Bob Gelser, because he is so knowledgeable and well respected. He knows how to relate to all his teams and be effective. It would be interesting to see how his position functions outside of how it relates to my job. We don’t often get to walk in someone else’s shoes.
