I eat 1-2 Tbsp every morning on whole-grain bread as a snack while I prepare breakfast for my family. It's also delicious baked into various casseroles for the flavor, protein, fiber, and calories (my husband and I are both thin). Especially delicious in anything containing tomatoes. We are vegan, so for example, I use tomatoes in my baked macaroni and "cheese" and casserole of pinto beans, salsa, some extra chopped raw onions, tahini, a little water, all layered with tortillas and topped with a little bit of olive oil for a crispy top, in the oven for 30-45 minutes.
Organic Sesame Tahini
Great taste
Great for making chicken!
Thanks to the farmers who grow organic sesame seeds and to Once Again for creating a great tahini with them. The flavor in salads is superb and this tahini makes amazing waffles. USDA’s nutrient data base shows sesame is one of the best sources of dietary value - calcium and other minerals, protein, healthy fat, and even fiber. If you have kids, introduce them to this product early in life to familiarize them with the flavor, teach them about this super food, and grow sesame micro greens. Oh...and yes, glass jar: no plastic! Yay!
